Its Because I'm White, Isn't It?

It is amazing that it is always my car that gets a ticket, gets towed, or gets banged up/scratched up/mangled when the no parking zone is filled with BMWs, high priced Mustangs, and cars proudly supporting such and such sorority/fraternity.

Somehow, it is always my poor little blue Toyota that is picked on. I'm tired of it. And I think CSS knows this too. Or at least they should after the little hissy fit I threw yesterday morning when I found out that my car had been towed at 2 in the morning, that I had not been notified (and thus believed that my blue baby had been stolen), and I missed a doctor's appointment because of it all. Not to mention Mother had to use the last bit of her money to come up here, get my car out of the impound lot, and go back home.

What the crap, man? Is this karma? Have I pissed someone off? What'd I ever do to you, huh?

And now the internet in the dorm is undergoing some mass restoration. I'm hoping it will make it work better, but for some reason its just making it harder and harder for me to talk to my friends on AIM and YIM. If I can't talk to them... what will happen? My spirits will be crushed and I'll be pissy. That's what'll happen.

I guess its good cause I can finally do my homework without freaking because the internet is down. Oh wait. I've already finished my online projects. Duh! How typical.

I figure its because I'm white.

Writer's block cured by technology?

Every year Christmas is a bit of a let down. I'm such a hard person to shop for (apparently) that my mother, grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends (most of them) tell me, ask me, or take me with them to figure out what to get me for Christmas. Mostly its gift cards, which is good. I like the gift cards.
But, no one has given me the one thing I want. The ability to write down an idea immediately, write down notes/outlines/summaries and never have to worry about losing or destroying the random piece of paper that I've written it down on. Note: Napkins do NOT make good substitutes for actual paper-at least paper survives washing machines sometimes.
So randomly my mother called me in October and asked if I had heard anything about a pen that records your handwriting and lets you download it to your computer. Fly Fusion Pen Top Computer. Records your hand writing, digitizes it, and allows you to organize your notes on the computer for easy print out.
Whoa.
Freaking GENIUS! I checked it out, did my little geek thing and check out technology reports and reviews. It's made by LeapFrog (a brand I know well since thats the brand my baby cousins have taken stock in) and could possibly be the next big thing in 'educational toys'.
This little pen top computer, thing, however, seems to me to be one of the best things to happen to me in a long time (technology based good thing of course).
If I have an idea, scratch it down, save the hand written copy and then. Boom. Upload it to my computer and save it in one of my writing files. Seems useful to me. What do you think?
It comes with a lot of homework help programs... and games. I'm looking mostly at the games.
So, yeah, today we bought my Fly Fusion. I think it'll help me be a little more organized with my story notes and ideas. I know I bug my friends because I'll have an ah-ha! moment, write it down, and then promptly lose it. I blame the pocket gremlins.
I can't have it until Christmas, my mother is tired of wrapping empty boxes just so I can enjoy ravaging the wrapping paper and tearing it to sheds. She said if she was to go through all that trouble she was going to have something actually in the boxes. Spoil sport. :)
I know my grandmother thinks I'll use it for educational purposes. I might... but most likely that'll be a no.
